Payel is a singer/songwriter and vocalist who performs covers of songs in the Pop and Alternative genres. Her father is a musician and instilled in her from a young age a huge love and passion for listening to and making music. In 2014 she entered a virtual competition hosted by Extra! (with Mario Lopez) and The Voice! and ended up placing as a Top 10 finalist for Philadelphia in the semi-final round. Payel performs throughout the year at various venues that are local to the Boyertown area, and at  Make Music Upper Perk. She's been performing at Make Music Upper Perk since its beginning in 2013, The Heart and Soul Cafe in Skippack over the past couple of years, various open mic nights, and has also played at festivals like Festburg in the past. She released her first single titled "10 Cents" on June 21, 2022 and has been working on her first EP.
