Endless Detour is a four piece rock band from the Philly suburbs. They describe themselves as a “hybrid” band, playing classic rock covers along with several originals. Their classic rock sets hail mostly from the 70’s while their original songs lean toward those same tones with lyrics that anyone can relate to. Rhythm guitarist and vocalist Mike Schuler writes their original material, and then each band member interprets what they hear and puts their own stamp on each song with their creative individual parts. This approach engages each band member in a passionate and highly effective manner, which really comes alive on stage. Stan Koncoski is lead guitar, choosing the perfect tones for each song as he riffs, solos and punches through with power. Sam Dulay has a great feel on the bass guitar, adding in both impressive runs mixed with subtle notes that “make” each song. Devon Schuler is on drums – Endless Detour’s own Keith Moon and John Bonham – flailing with precision but with perfect timing and taste. The band likes the powerhouse feel of a four-piece all working at their highest levels together which produces an overall tight unit.
They have one simple goal at every show – for the audience to have a GREAT time!
