Singer Songwriter Night featuring Cliff Hillis & Corin Ashley

Cliff Hillis is an award winning singer/songwriter based in the Philadelphia area whose music evokes the sunny pop of the 70’s and has garnered national radio airplay. Hillis has co-written with critically acclaimed songwriters such as Rhett Miller, Aaron Lee Tasjan, Kelley Ryan and Dan Bern.

Tracks from Hillis’ most recent release "Be The Now" have gotten airplay on Triple A radio stations such as 88.5 WXPN, 89.7 WTMD and 90.5 The Night.

When he’s not recording and producing albums for himself and others in his studio, Hillis also tours with various bands including Smash Palace, David Uosikkinen’s “In The Pocket”, Patty Smyth as well as The Orchestra (featuring former E.L.O. members).

Corin Ashley has left his capo behind  at some of the coolest clubs on the globe: from the Troubadour in Hollywood, to the 12 Bar in London, to the Cavern in Liverpool and the El Mocambo in Toronto.  Corin Ashley is a lifelong musician who formerly led Boston mod-pop heroes The Pills in the 2000s, as they toured extensively around the U.S., Canada, and Europe. Over a 10-year span, The Pills released three full-length albums, toured and performed with The B-52s, The Strokes, The Libertines, Supergrass, Sloan, Edwin McCain, The Wrens, Juliana Hatfield, The Smithereens, Nada Surf, Jimmy Cliff, and pretty much every one-hit early 2000s alternative radio band with a number in their name. He has released three solo albums, recorded at Abbey Road studios, and appeared on bills with such diverse artists as Peter Case, The Beach Boys, Dave Davies Of the Kinks, Cyndi Lauper, Fitz & The Tantrums, Frank Turner, Robyn Hitchcock and, on one magical summer evening, Foreigner and Styx.
